"Educational Leadership and Management Research Center" was founded in April 2013 and serves as a non entity academic institution. The center reached a cooperation intention with Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, and co-founded "NAEA- Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Educational Leadership and Management Research Center". The main business scope includes：develop research, academic cooperation and international exchange on educational leadership and organization theory; deliver training program, achievement development and policy consultancy on educational leadership and organization theory. Director of the center is Prof. Liu Yarong, also the director school management department.

　　The main functions and missions of the center：The center's functions include research, consultation and training, among which research is the basic function. The mission is to explore leadership and organizational management theories with Chinese characteristics，through which to promote and improve the leadership and management of educational organizations and all kinds of organizations.

　　Around the topic of leadership and organization improvement, our research work includes:①build-up of the frame of educational leadership and organization theories; ②establishment of basic database；③establishment of case-study database；④research and design of targeted training programs；⑤consultancy and diagnostic advice for related organizations.
